I am looking for following info: 1. Which are potential identified sites for wind farm in India and out of them already installed and where not? 2. What price does Indian state govts buy electricity per unit. (Top 5 states will do) 3. Incentives provided by Indian Central & State goverment in promoting wind energy. 4. Is there any research done on comparision of windturbines available in world, which can give value for money. 5. Any sites showing best solutions as in arrangement of turbines in windfarm, distance, which can give more better results. 6. which are leading companies in windturbines manufacturing along with their websites in World and India (top 5 each will do). 7. List some websites dedicated to windenergy. 8. Any software available for calculations to assist in calculation of wind energy? 9. Which are leading companies involved in India in buisness of wind farm. 10. Is there any research done on cost per unit via windfarm and other renewable resources. (with respect to India is prefered) 11. Any windfarms in world using left over space for some other buisness (ie. restuatent, offices). |

I am looking for following info: 1. Search for CWET and the sites are listed on its website. 2. Approx. Rajasthan 3.30; Maharashtra 3.00, Tamil Nadu 2.50. Escalation clauses to compensate for inflation. 3. Accelerated Depreciation (80% in first year currently) by center, power wheeling / banking or third party sale allowance by state electricity boards. 4. Try www.windpower.org; costs depnd on rotor size (Swept area, kW) 5. This is a detailed science - called MICROSITING. Softwares like WAsP, Windfarmer etc. available to do this. Usually turbines arranged in a 5 * 7D or a 4 * 6 D grid (D=rotor diameter) . 6. find lists on www.awea.org 7. www.windpower.org, www.awea.org 8. wind energy output calculators available on www.windpower.org 9. Suzlon, Vestas RRB, Pioneer-Gamesa, GE Wind, NEPC, NEG-Micon (now merged with Vestas - internationally) 10. Is there any research done on cost per unit via windfarm and other renewable resources.
