Dear Sir or Madam, I want to download the latest ISO images from the website of FreeBSD.org, Red Hat Fedora, Slackware and possibly Suse. I am having difficulty locating a software package that runs on windows which would allow me to take a downloaded ISO image, extract or convert the data, burn it to a CD and make that CD bootable. Please advise. I have used Roxio Easy CD Creator and Nero OEM Suite 6 and neither can accomplish this. I hope you can assist me. Thank you | |

Hi: It is very simple using Easy CD creator. Load up Easy CD Creator and chooose the following option: File => Record from CD Image => you get a file choosing Window => select .ISO ( ISO files) from the File types selection => Click through the file selection until you get your ISO image that you have downloaded => You get the CD Recording menu - Select # of Copies, Record CD Option, Record Method - Disk at Once => Click on Start Recording. You should now be able to record ISO images...let me know if you have more problems. |
