Hi spewkie-ga,

You did not specify any particular Palm model, so I've taken the
liberty to check the 5 newest models. They are able to store data
safely for 3-7 days when the battery has drained to such an extent
that the unit cannot be powered on without a further recharge.

Zire 31 - 5 days
Zire 71 - 5 days
Tungsten E - about a week
Tungsten T3 - about a week
Treo - 600 - about 3 days

If you've a specific model in mind apart from these, I'd be happy to clarity.
