Hello Creamofcards

It is quite a challenge considering the numerous activites Frank
Sinatra packed into his life to get everything into a 60-80 word
summary but hopefully you will be happy with what I have come up with.
The summary is based on the facts obtained from many online sources
including these:

http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/sinatra_frank/bio.jhtml
http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hc&id=1800017620&cf=biog&intl=us
http://www.mp3.com/Frank-Sinatra/artists/2628/biography.html
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000069/bio
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/music/muze/index.pl?site=music&action=biography&artist_id=27670

Because of the limited number of words huge swathes of his life have
had to be ignored (as can be seen from the biographies above) but I
think this puts it as succinctly as I can:

"Born Francis Albert Sinatra on 12 December 1915 in Hoboken, New
Jersey, Frank began singing in clubs after attending a Bing Crosby
concert in 1933. After winning a national competition (as part of a
foursome), ?Ol? blue eyes? went solo in 1942. From the mid 40's he
began acting and won an Oscar in 1953. Forever part of Rat Pack and
doing it his way, he sang big band/swing tunes into his eighties, the
legend died on 15 May 1998." [80 words]

If you need any further clarification or word like anything changing
please ask for clarification and I will do my best to help.
