My impression is that Béthines does not have a city council.  Its
population is only about 500.  (A nearby village, Saint-Sevin, with
about 2500 residents does have a municipal council.)

like to ask instead.  I assume that you have a particular reason for
interest in Béthines (rather than, say, the nearby village of

Thanks for your interest.

Bethines does have a city council, being a city by itself. I happen to
know one of the members of the council, but everyone refused to tell
me his affiliation (I suppose they are ashamed of it).

Now I realize that Béthines does have a mayor.  So it should have a
council too.  I haven't seen information about it; but perhaps someone
will.

It might help if you can mention any names of counselors.

I know of someone named Grémiau.
