There is a song by an Argentinian band called "Manuel Santillan, el
leon".  Supposedly the songs is about an Argentian revolutionary
figure.  He is also referenced in another song by them called
"Matador" about a folk singer/poet named Victor Jara.  Can you give me
a brief biography of Manuel Santillan and discuss his historical
significance?

True, my mistake, the band is Fabulosos Cadiallacs, and the SONG is
called "Manuel Santillan".  I don't need anything indepth on the
history, just curious to know who he was.

I have information on Victor Jara follow this link and a biography,
his songs and other information is available

"Manuel Santillan" but I could not find any information.
the story on Victor Jara's life and death is very interesting, might
want to check it out.
