Hello Lainey,

As Pink thought, there is no book titled "War at Sea" by Admiral
Ernest J King. He wrote a book titled "U.S. Navy at War 1941-1945",
and figures largely in a number of books that are titled "War at Sea"
but that are written by other people.

Here's a list that might be interesting to you (all links are to Amazon.com):

War at Sea 1939-1945 (Jurgen Rohwer)

I spent quite a lot of time searching the Library of Congress and
WorldCat catalogs for Admiral King's publications. Pretty much every
book published in English is in one of those two catalogs, if not
both. This is the basis for my professional opinion that the author
and title you've been given to track down are not mates. Please let
me know if I can help further.
