I would say, at initial glance, Garth Brooks considering he has teh
#13, #24, and #25 top grossing albums of all time.

"You can thank the following (numbers from a Forbes list of the
highest paid entertainers):
The Beatles, $130 million
Rolling Stones, $121 million
Eagles, $95 million
Pink Floyd, $70 million
Michael Jackson, $67 million
Barbra Streisand, $63 million
Grateful Dead, $42 million
Garth Brooks, $40 million
Elton John, $35 million
Billy Joel, $33 million
Boyz II Men, $31 million
Aerosmith, $30 million
John Grisham, $29 million
Jimmy Buffett, $26 million
Bon Jovi, $25 million

I have to say only the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Michael Jackson are
worthy of their earnings, due to their contribution to the evolution
of music. Where the heck are RunDMC, the Beastie Boys and Wu Tang!"

Brooks also showed up 15th on the Forbes Highest Paid Entertainer List
in 1999. To my knowledge the Beastie Boys have NEVER even made the
list.

Garth Brooks is said to have made half a billion dollars FOR HIMSELF
during his career.
