well video is generally visual... it can also be auditory

now humans have senses so they say.. that would mean that you would be
able to extend the sense to a streamed audio/visual setting although
digitized etc...

I'm not sure what you mean by remote demo 
first thing that comes to mind is pron although you could use it in a
v-store demonstrations for how to use products / tutorials / etc.. is
this what you mean?
