I have just been looking at my TV Listings and I see that there's a
movie on today here in the UK about a Swashbuckling Archeologist,
called Indigo Jones or some such.

I wondered ... Is it about one of your many adventures, perhaps?

Well?

I've never swashed a buckle or buckled a swash in my life. (does
getting sunburn count?)

Usually I sat in museum basements doing cataloging or restoration
work. Some field walking surveys and a little bit of digging.

And of course checking out the local cooking and restaurants. I'm a
napkin flipping archaeologist.

I eat my way through history.

On the plumpish side

Ah, well, Nobody's perfect.

Another disappointment.

But, I had to ask.

Maybe there's time yet?

Oops!

Many thanks Steph for pointing out my typo!

Inigo Jones

The first and greatest of English Renaissance architects, Inigo Jones
was an unlikely candidate to change the landscape of British style and
design. Yet this self-taught son of a Smithfield clothmaker had an
enormous effect on the course of British art and architecture.

What would I do without you?

Ah yes, Inigo Jones, not to be confused with Inigo Montoya...

"HELLO...My name is Inigo Montoya..." , etc.

Now there was a swashbuckler!

Regarding the matter of whether or not Digsalot is a swashbuckler, I
have it on good authority that Digs, being a progressive-minded
fellow, no longer uses buckles on his swash, but has switched to
Velcro.
