I cancelled an escrow account about 2 weeks after opening it. Seller
of the property do not sign the cancellation of escrow - therefore I
could not get back my escrow deposit money.
Now the same property is in sale pending status with another byer.
What can I do to get the deposit money back.

Can you tell us the state in which this is occuring? Also, were there
any conditions or contingencies outstanding at the time you cancelled
escrow? What was the reason you cancelled escrow?

This is in California.
When I cancelled, appraisal was still in process and it came out the
very next day- they appraised at the selling price.

Since this is in California, I can give much more specific information
on the larger issue of "When can you expect to get a earnest money
deposit refunded". However, since there isn't quite enough information
in your question and subsequent Clarification, I can't quite address
your situation exactly.

Are you ok with me answering the restated question vs. the question
that specifically wants to know if YOU can get your deposit refunded?
