I own two collared silk shirts made by 'Double Red Horse" in Shanghai.
They are long-sleeved, patterned, and, most notably, cut slightly
slimmer (for Asians) than the average men's shirt made in America.
They are nice enough for dress shirts, but have a more casual look. I
love everything about these shirts. What I have seen in stores and so
far online does not compare to them, either too dressy (starched), to
hawaiian-shirt-like (gaudy patterns), not silk, etc etc. I am told
that these shirts are sold everywhere on the street in Hong Kong and
Shanghai. I also have it in my mind that these are popular in India,
although I cannot say why. Where can I find shirts like this without
having to travel to the orient? Online stores are perfect, but any
store in which I can find suitable shirts that will ship is fine with
me. Remember, I like the ones made in Asia because they are cut well,
unlike most American clothes. "Double Red Horse" brand would be nice,
but anything comprable will do. |

1. No, that shirt will not do; I have already seen it.
2. Yes, if I can get photos or good descriptions.
3. Yes, but not until after 6 September.
4. The shirts I have say only collar size 16 1/2. My size is 16 1/2
collar and 34 sleeve. One is dark blue with light-colored characters
(Indian-looking, to me, but I suppose they are probably Chinese since
the Shirt is from Shanghai) and the other was dark with some kind of
square design.
I can tell you that these shirts are probably 10-20 years old, but
they do not to me look retro, or dated, or anything like that.
