I'm part of a non-profit group that sells "cheesecake on a stick" at
an annual festival. This is a frozen dessert item that is a single
slice of cheesecake on a popsicle stick, usually covered in chocolate.
This year US Foodservice apparently no longer carries the item, nor
does Sysco. Festivals all over the country sell pre-packaged (plain
white wrapper) versions of this item, but I cannot find a distributor
that carries them. I need contact information for a
vendor/distributor that can provide roughly 1,000 of this item in the
Baltimore/DC Metro area for the weekend of Sept. 10-12. I know there
are specialty mail-order cheesecake sites on the web, but these are
too expensive. The unit cost should be no more than $2.25 per piece
(as they will be sold for $3/slice).
