I own a Seat Ibiza and I'm about to get a 350bhp turbo upgrade. 
The problem is that the standard gearbox (02J) struggles with that
level of power and so I'd like to upgrade to the stronger 02M gearbox
as seen on some other VW group cars. My only concern is the additional
weight of the 02M gearbox.

It has been suggested that the weight difference between the 02J and
the 02M is only 10Kgs, but I would like this confirmed.

So, my question is:
 How heavy are the VW/Audi 02J and 02M gearboxes?

i was looking for the same data! the only thing i found was that the
"difference is not very big" :-( anyway, maybe if i put link to this
