There are plenty of bright spots in the West.  But one shines above
them all.  In fact, even 10 miles into space you could supposedly read
a newspaper by its light.  What city does it shine it and where can I
get copy of photo of the long-reaching light source.

Ahhh..the riddles continue.

The light you are referring to is the the most powerful light beam in
the world, the 40 billion candlepower beacon on the top of the Luxor
Hotel in Las Vegas.
