Hi,
We have a product that especially captures the wedding moment of a marrying couple.
It is a handmade, high-customized artwork that is made solely for the
couple and would worth at least a few hundred dollars. It is a
one-piece handmade artwork rather than some flavors
and we would need to work with the bride to customize it.
We would like to have some high end wedding vendors who could act as
our potential partners as channels to let our potential customers know
about it and also refer them to us.
We would apprecite if you could provide information on the following:
Please do not just provide links from general info sites,e.g.
"herecomestheguide.com" or "By Recommendation Only"
I need specific contact info outlined below.
A) Info of potential partners Within 150 miles from the zip code CA 95134
i) High-end or celebrity wedding coordinators or planners (who charge
more than $200/hr)OR have press coverage for them, preferrably not
very large event organizer as we would like to have simple decision
making model in their company that if that lady owner say yes, we
would work out rather than huge even company that we need to strike
complicated business contracts.
ii) Any other potential wedding vendors that are looking for
opportunity to partner with us and have showrooms that we can put our
prototype there for display.
iii) Direct way of knowing the info of propective wedding couple who
has a high budget
(I know this is abstract but pls assume say $50000 budget or those who
spend over $7000 just on photography
which is generally double than normal).
Extra $5 tip for A iii) above if answered satisfactorily.
One example for i) above would be similar to this which has specific
office and contact and this coordinator has very good press coverage
and I know where to drop off our thing.

Extra $20 for getting exact contact methods, e.g. office/location
address or contact number on all the A) items
above and suggestions on how to easily getting our prototype to be on
display in their office as many coordinators seem to offer only tel
nos and a little not too open.
B) General marketing
i) Besides relying on wedding vendors as partners or word of mouth,
pls suggest any other ways or past success stories that we can
reference to solicit prospective customers. Please do not provide
common suggestion like putting on eBay, TV commercials, or general
tradeshows etc ... because this is a highly customized product that we
cannot mass produce and probably too delicate to ship.
Extra $5 tip for B i) above if answered satisfactorily.
C) Ways of approaching celebrity coordinators
i) One of the biggest concern that celebrity coordinators is the fear
of leaking out celebrity's wedding information as privacy and security
issues. Besides stating in letters to assure that we are not asking
for contacts and just want to do our product for the coordinators, pls
provide suggestions on what we can do based on any past success
stories or references.
Extra $5 tip for C i) above if answered satisfactorily.
D) Model of payment
i) Besides having the couple to pay in full for the artwork, one way
of our model is break up the cost of our artwork with bride-to-be
paying one part and suggest that she introduce us to her guests and we
provide a bridal registry so that her guests can contribute together
to
make up the rest of it. Is there any other model that you can suggest
which is very different from these two models?
Extra $5 tip for D i) above if answered satisfactorily.
Thank you in advance. If answer above are good enough to stimulate
further questions and analysis, there will be next set of questions in
this thread that would be dedicated to this answerer with another
round of tips. |
