I'd like to find maps of both London and Central London that I can use
on our company intranet. I'm assuming these will need to be copyright
free, although if this isn't the case please let me know.
The maps don't need to be too accurate or contain too much detail, as
they're only going to be used to show the rough location of our
offices.
They should be of a size that will fit easily within a browser window.
Thanks

Would a satellite photo do the trick..?

Here's a beautiful shot of London, and since it's from the US
government, it's public domain/copyright-free (no Crown Copyrights,
here, mate!).

Hi,

As dmrmv mentions, I've seen companies link directly to the
corresponding map on other websites.

Otherwise, you could buy a license to display a map on your website
for £47. Would a link to purchase such a map be a satisfactory answer?

Thanks.

The satellite photo is a nice idea, but to maintain consistency with
the rest of the site I would prefer conventional maps of both London
and Central London.
Similar with the link idea - I'll need actual images.
As for paying for a license, I'd prefer not to.
Apologies for being quite so negative and thanks for your help so far!

Have you considered just posting a link to a map of your area from a
service such as MapQuest?
