How do I clear my history of searches? For instance, when I start typing a search beginning with the letter A, all previous searches beginning with A appear right below the box. I want to clear what is there and activate a setting so it doesn't keep a record of my searches. Thanks Evan |

Click OK again ================================================= Clearing Google Internet Search History http://www.tweakxp.com/tweak1546.aspx To clear the search box on google.com or the history of any text box: Select "Internet Options" from the Internet Explorer "Tools" menu. Select the "Content" tab at the top of the "Internet Options" window. In the "Personal information" section at the bottom, click the "AutoComplete" button. On the AutoComplete Settings window, click on the "Clear Forms" button. You will get a window asking you to confirm clearing the history. Click "OK", and you're done. ================================================= Best regards, tlspiegel |
