How many, if any, general election presidential races that were considered hotly contested and or "too close to call" were decided by a margin than greater than 5% of the popular vote cast? Who were the candidates, what parties what years were they and what were the popular vote counts? Since 1900, how many US Senate races that were considered hotly contested and or "too close to call" were decided by a margin than greater than 5% of the popular vote cast? Who were the major party candidates, what states were the races, what year and what were the vote totals. |
