I have been trying to locate a BBC/Timewatch TV documentary on
American atrocities during the Korean War; the title is "Kill 'em
All". The only thing I can find is that it was made by the Timewatch
division of the BBC. Am trying to find out if it's available for
purchase but am having no luck.

Thank you very much for accepting this information as your answer! I
have reposted the material below.

Discovery Channel Asia lists this film on its schedule for September 28:

"Tuesday, 28 September..

07:00 - Kill 'em All: American War Crimes In Korea"

I found no commercial sources for the purchase of this video. However,
new DVD titles are being introduced at a very rapid rate (about 25 new
titles enter the market each day). It seems likely that, given the
relevance of the subject matter to current affairs, the program may be
released on DVD and/or VHS at some point.

======================================================================

My strategy in locating the information posted above began with a
quest for the exact title of the film, using this Google search
string:

Google Web Search: "kill 'em all" korea documentary
://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=%22kill+%27em+all%22+korea+documentary

Once I had the full title, I used it in a second search string:

Google Web Search: "kill 'em all american war crimes in korea"

It is my hope that this information will lead your friend to view

You could ask the BBC, i.e. "bbc.co.uk/history feedback form".

A link "Contact Us" is on the webpage

Thanks fp-ga. I came to the same place in my search but was hoping one
of GA's fantastic researchers could find out a little more for me. I'm
actually posting this for a friend - I'm trying to make them a beliver
in GA.

Possibly someone with access to this programming can record the film
for your friend.

The film can be obtained for viewing through this "lending library"
for a small fee:

?Kill ?em All? : American War Crimes in Korea video 2001 49 mins.
Painful presentation of the 1950 US attacks on groups of S. Korean
refugee civilians who were feared as harboring N. Korean troops. After
an exhaustive 1999 news investigation forcing a 2001 Congressional
Hearing, the Pentagon finally acknowledged one incident. (S. Korea
reports 61), but it took no responsibility for the deliberate attacks.
There is testimony of both aging American soldiers with clear
memories, and S Korean survivors who describe the massacres in
agonizing detail. Survivors have been campaigning since 1960 for an
American apology and compensation. Information does not present a
broad history of the war. US documents present army orders, and how
the US army in Japan was ill prepared and poorly trained for war. Also
commentary on the terrible character of army leadership. Footage,
testimonies tell the story, as well as poetic photography with aching
soloists singing in the background. Age level: high school to adult.
