During the Revolutionary period in the United States, the name Publius
was a nom de plume used by Madison, Jay, and Hamilton in writing the
Federalist Papers. The name Publius was used for a Revoutionary
document ca. 1780 and which begins" It is high time we should awake
out of that fatal state of torpor..." It sounds like Hamilton, but I
am unable to identify its author positively. Who is writing here?

Could you describe in more detail the document you are referring to,
i.e. how many pages, where published, title etc.?
