Question ID: 396947
A few years ago Jerry Lewis receited a long tongue twister on the Larry
King show. It was just before the annual telethon Approx August,
2002. I believe it started with ONE DUCK (OR ONE HEN)and then
continued to count other items eg: TWO HENS (OR TWO DUCKS) THREE
SQUALKING GEESE...FOUR (?) FIVE (?) SIX (?) SEVEN (?) EIGHT (?) etc, etc.
Could I get a print out of it?

Dear albie69,

Though I could not locate a printed version of this tongue twister
anywhere, I am nevertheless able to provide you its full text as
performed by Jerry Lee Lewis on many occasions:

One hen

Two ducks

Three squawking geese

Four limerick oysters

Five corpulent porpoises

Six pair of Don Alversos tweezers

Seven thousand Macedonians in full battle array

Eight brass monkeys from the ancient sacred crypts of Egypt

Nine apathetic, sympathetic, diabetic, old men on roller skates with a
marked propensity towards procrastination and sloth

Ten lyrical, spherical diabolical denizens of the deep who hall stall
around the corner of the quo of the quay of the quivery, all at the
same time

Excuse the typo in the first few lines: It's of course Jerry Lewis
who often recited that tongue twister. As it seems, my mind had
wandered to my rock'n'roll CD collection for one second...

This was wonderfully fast. Thank you so much. Will the charge be the
entire $10.00? I HOPE NOT AS I AM A RITIRED PERSON.

I DIDNT REALIZE JUST HOW EASY THE ANSWER WAS AND YOUR SITE SAID THE
LOWER PAID ANSWERS HAD A 70 OR 75% CHANCE OF BEING ANSWERED AND OVER
$10.00 WAS LIKELY TO BE ANSWERED. I NEVER DID THIS BEFORE.. I WILL
KNOW BETTER NEXT TIME

Dear albie69,

Unfortunately, there is indeed no discount if a Researcher manages to
answer a question quickly. But I'm glad to know that you are satisfied
with my answer as such.

With utmost respect, why did you nominate $10 as the amount you'd pay
for an answer (a 'wonderfully fast' answer at that) if you didn't want
to pay $10?
