I believe you're thinking of "doppelgangers."

Hi WMA123, According to the bible, when we die there is nothing left
over that goes anywhere [ heaven/hell] or can " haunt" anyone. The
scriptures are Ecclesiastes 9;5,6,10..Ezekiel
18;4...Isaiah26;14..Death is the price we pay for being sinners, and
Romans 3;23 and 6;23 explain. " ALL have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God...The wages sin pays is death. Even babies in the womb
and newborns are sinners. Psalm51;5 .."You know I was born guilty, a
sinner from the moment of conception". Only Jesus was without sin.
When He died it was not to pay for his sin, because he had none, but
to pay for all of ours, First Timothy 2;6. So, what are doppelgangers?
People have "seen" many strange things. Are they all imagining these
things? Again the Bible furnishes an answer. Revelation 12; 7-9 and
12. The Devil [Satan] has been relegated to earth, along with all the
angels who, when they did, became demons. Jude 6 ..and the angels that
did not keep their original position but forsook their own proper
dwelling place...He has reserved with eternal bonds under dense
darkness for the judgement of the great day  [ Armageddon]. Once a
person knows ALL the scriptures and regards them in the one context,
the explanation of doppelgangers, ghosts and bumps in the night are
all clear. Should we pursue information on this subject outside the
