Question ID: 397027
I am trying to find a baseball video game (PC, xbox, or ps2) that:

- allows two computers on a LAN to play a "head to head" baseball game
- AND, allows a third computer to "watch" the game in progress
- AND, is a good, action-oriented, visual simulation (not a
stat-oriented, manager type game)

I think this is like the tournament mode in Quake, but I want to find
this for a baseball simulation game.

There is no answer at this time.

I don't know first hand, but Sammy Sosa High Heat Baseball 2001
http://www.gamezone.com/gamesell/p14206.htm is *almost* there. I don't
know if there are many "watch only" baseball network games if at all.

My *guess* is that you're going to probably be two player only for
baseball anyway. If you wanted a third observer, you could possibly
install a remote control program or something. :)

Thanks for the suggestion -- I wanted to find out more details on the
game, but since 3do is out of business now... ;)

The "major" game out now is EA Sport's
http://www.easports.com/games/mvp2004/home.jsp MVP 2004.
Unfortunately, this isn't a LAN based game. It is an Internet
-connectable game but I don't have any more specifics on it. (High
Heat MLB 2004 is available for PS2, XBOX, and PC, although the
consoles give a greater review than the PC version.) check out
www.gamespot.com for more info.
