Could be "Les Grecs Ont Disparu" (in English, "The Greeks Have Disappeared") from "Les Troyens" ("The Trojans"), by Hector Berlioz. http://www.aria-database.com/cgibin/aria-search.pl?1180a Here you can listen to a clip of "Les Grecs Ont Disparu" (track #2): http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000063DQA/qid=1094410927/sr=8-12/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i12_xgl15/103-2313886-2318226?v=glance&s=classical&n=507846 |

rohugi-ga: Could you have misheard *greeks* as Grieg's? Composer Edvard Grieg wrote much beautiful and popular music: his piano concerto and much else is well known. Can you clarify? monroe22 |
