I recently found a machine made rug from China. It is said to be a
copy of old chinese rugs. The rug's central figure is a dragon. The
rug is so designed as to be capable of being put around a tree, with
the head and tail then completing the figure of the dragon. What is
the history of such rugs in China?? What books to look at? R.Cox.
