Hi. I have a new computer with XP Pro, on a small office network.
Asus A7V600 mobo.

LAN and internet browsing seem to work fine. But the LAN connection
icon constantly blinks on the sent side at about 1 second interval,
although no packets are being sent it seems.

No other computers on the LAN do this. Is this normal with this type
of NIC? I don't think there is any worm or spyware and I don't think
it's due to other software - at this point there is very little. I
have updated driver for the 3COM LOM.
