How can I search a public folder (w subfolders) in Outlook 2003?

How can I do an ?advanced find? (right click on the folder and pick
advanced find in OL2003) to search for something in a Public folder,
and also have it search it?s subfolders. The Subfolder checkbox there
is greyed out.

This means that there is no way to search a public folder and its
subfolders, you have to do each sub folder one at a time. This bites.

I tried using the Search Folders feature of OL2003, since it can do
subfolders, but it doesn?t seem to support Public Folder.

We have OL 2003 and exchange 2003.

Any workaround?

thanx in advnce

You may wish to look at LookOut (recently purchased by Microsoft),
which provides and Outlook plugin which will index and search public
folders
