I have a non-American credit card. A Lebanese Visa to be precise. I am
trying to purchase a laptop and mobile phone online. I just can't seem
to find a shop that accepts international visa accounts.

I tried paypal but paypal doesn't seem to support payments made from Lebanon.

I really need this... Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't think the problem lies with your credit card unless it is not
a standard credit card but a debit or internet charge card which many
merchants are reluctant to accept.

If you are attempting to purchase a laptop and a mobile phone from a
US-based online store, you will find that many of them will not offer
shipping for electronic items outside of the US and its territories.
The reasons for this are unclear and would appear to be more
logistical than legal.

Have you tried to purchase any other items such as books, cd's?

Paypal is only available in 44 countries currently. Lebanon is not alone!

From this page You can select the option to view items available to
lebanon or even located in lebanon.

some of the sellers will actually be companies rather than indevidual
people and will display the option to pay direvtly via visa rather
than paypal. if you cannot find the product you desire (which is
unlikley) you may at least be able to find the contact details of a
company that offer postage to lebanon with whom you can request other
products from.

you can buy anything you want on amazon.com and have them sent to a US address.
Amazon accepts lebanese credit cards.
To get a US address, check www.eshop-lebanon.com or aramex.com
they will then deliver your purchases from the US address to Lebanon.

First, check with your bank (or credit card provider) if you have an
international credit card - you might have a Lebanese only credit
card, or a debit card, as mentioned before.

Second, it is possible that your credit card was not accepted even if
it is an international one, but (for example), Amazon.com accepts an
international (non American) credit card, so there are many stores
that would accept it.
