I am working on a research project for search engines. I need to know how big is the databases are for Ask Jeeves for kids and Yahooligans, how old they are, how often they are updated and how much of the internet they search. This is for my Technology in Education class, your answers would be greatly appreciated. |

Wonder if anyone else in the class will come up with Wikipedia? The English edition of Wikipedia says "In this English edition, started in January 2001, we are working on 344071 articles." and lists other Wikis: "Wikipedias with over 10,000 articles: Dansk (Danish) ? Deutsch (German) ? Esperanto ? Español (Spanish) ? Français (French) ? Italiano (Italian) ? ??? (Japanese) ? Nederlands (Dutch) ? Polska (Polish) ? Português (Portuguese) ? Svenska (Swedish) ? ?? (Chinese Simplified | Traditional)" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Owain |
