I lost my restart/reboot cd for my Presari 5830 and Compaq says they
cannot sell them anynmore due to termination of a licensing agreement.
 I need to buy one that is used or in a private individual's
possession?  Where should I go?

perform in your computer, probably there is a way to do that without
the required CD.
