The Elite Model agency was founded in Paris in 1971 by John
Casablancas. In 1977, it moved its headquarter to New York. The agency
represents over 500 models on five continents and has several dozen
offices worldwide. The company has represented many top models such as

Although Elite is considered one of the largest and most prestigious
agencies, the agency received some negative publicity in 1999 when it
