locked out channels

I have locked out some channels on my Bell Express Vu 2700 and forgotten the correct password to access the channels....how do I resolve that problem and regain access to these now locked out channels? |

try to set them up at other channels(but you might need a pswd to do this) if not this ,somwere inside there is a jumper (to clear pswd) or battery(to take away and put back to clear all settings) But im not sure. |

Try pressing 'Menu', then '6', then '3', then 'Info', then 'Right Arrow', then 'Left Arrow', and then 'TV/Video'. This should bring up a screen full of numbers and such. When it does, unplug the unit for fifteen seconds, then plug it back in. If your software version is the same as mine, this should clear all passwords, and you can start fresh. If this doesn't work, I'd recommend calling Bell. They would know what key combination will work with the software version you have. Good Luck Peter |
