Hi there,

'Planet Zanussi' was the marketing tag used by Zanussi, the Italian
manufacturer of household appliances, in UK advertising campaigns in
the mid 1990s.

The name was coined, presumably, to evoke futuristic technology and
innovative design.

The phrase has now vanished from Zanussi's promotional material,
although their other slogan - "The Appliance of Science" - still
appears from time to time.

The phrase has, mysteriously, apparently taken on new life in
newsgroups (particularly British-based ones) as an ironic byword for a
fantastical planet, thus:

"David Icke thinks they're all lizards from the planet Zanussi, or
somesuch..."

"I am also 6 stone, female, have three eyes... come from the planet
Zanussi
and can design fantastic websites"

"I can imagine her on the planet Zanussi perhaps."

Hope this answers your question,

Seems to be a European expression referring to oddly designed home appliances.
