You'll find a nice list of celebrity philanthropists here, complete
with links to the websites of the nonprofit organizations and
foundations that they have founded:

"Whether you're interested in history and want to learn about Andrew
Carnegie, or you're a sports fan and want to read about the foundation
that Tiger Woods started, or you just want to find out how people in
the public eye use their wealth and influence to promote causes they
care about, you'll find something here to satisfy your curiosity!"

The Foundation Center
http://fdncenter.org/yip/youth_celebrity.html

An even better list (with a lot of detail) is here:

"A sampling of non-profit charities and private foundations founded by
or linked to people in the entertainment industry, ranked by total
assets, plus the largest recipient of their giving in the most recent
fiscal year for which tax filings were available."

The Hollywood Reporter's "Entertainment Philanthropy" section may be
very helpful to you. It is listed alphabetically by the name of the
organization; clicking on each letter category will give you more
details, including the names of celebrities who are founders and
supporters of each organization, plus full contact info.

In case the USA Today link is flaky (as I've found to be the case
fairly often), the same chart of celebrity foundations is posted here:

jenvincent-ga rated this answer:5 out of 5 stars and gave an additional tip of: $10.00
Thank you very much for you expedited research. I am a grant
researcher. I had seen one of the web pages, however, I had forgotten
where and couldn't locate it by a search engine.

I would recommend you services to anyone.
