I want to download all of my messages on my Gmail account, for
archival purposes. I've been unable to find a program that works for
this.
I've tried Pop Goes The Gmail (pgtgm), but it doesn't seem to function any more.
I've tried libgmail.py, and it starts off looking like it's working
and then just quits.

I've seen something online that uses PHP to do this, but I don't know what that is.

I'm using WinXP, SP2, and am sufficiently knowledgable to do things
like run python scripts.
I prefer to have the messages in mbox format.
