Okay, Guys- Here it is- from my initial e-mail to their answer. Can
anyone help make my Jabra work correctly? The question and responce
from Jabra e-mails:

Charles,

The answer/end feature does not work with the treo 600 and our headset.
If you go to www.mytreo.com, there should be a software upgrade that
will work.

Subject: JABRA Technical Support Question From Web Site

Dear JABRA Technical Support:

My name is Charles Laquidara (from United States) and I have the
following problem or question concerning my JABRA Product:

0. Message Subject: not fully compatible with Treo 600
1. I just bought a Treo 600. The FreeSpeak BT200 worked perfectly
with the Kyocera 7135 I used to have. It also works perfectly with all
the other models and brands I tried at the Verizon store. So, the
problem is not with Verizon. The tech support people at Treo say that it
is not their problem either. Does your company know that the BT200 does
the opposite of what it is supposed to do when in the stand-by answer
mode? In other words, if I keep it in standby mode, when my Treo 600
rings, and I click the earpiece to answer- it disconnects. With all
other phones, it works properly and it takes the call. Can you help me
here? If not, can you at least tell me how I can be alerted if and when
your company does an upgrade to correct this problem? (which apparently
applies only to the Treo 600)

Here are the specifics about my device, and JABRA product:

2. JABRA Product: [FreeSpeak/BT200/BT250/FS258]
3. Device Manufacturer: [Other]
4. Device Model: [Treo 600]

Howdy Charles,

Have you done the software upgrade they mention? If researchers knew
what service company you use (AT&T, etc.) we could try to point you to
the appropriate upgrade site. Here is (for instance) a page that leads
to the AT&T Treo 600 software upgrade, but they have a warning not to
use it on a non-AT&T serviced phone.

I have not done the appropriate software upgrade that they mention,
because when I go to the Treo page, I still cannot find the upgrade
download site. It is all gibberish to me.

Howdy Charles,

What company is providing your service? Is it AT&T? Or someone else?

That is going to be the key in the process of getting you the software
upgrade. Thanks!

Is the only way I can respond to your responses to click on "clarify
question" over and over? ( Just asking..This seems like a very
complicated way of communicating..)

Anyway, my phone service is with Verizon. Both they AND Treo AND Jabra
have been horrible with their tech support. You want to go through the
hoops with all of them, I'll pay more for the service, but good luck!
They are all pointing to "the other guy" as to where I go to solve the
problem. As you can see below, Jabra Tech Support simply ASSUMES that
Treo will have the upgrade.
The problem I believe is with Treo, because all the other cell phones
I have tried the BT200 with work perfectly.

Howdy Charles,

Yep, this is the only way we have to communicate.

Next step is find out what version of software you are running. If you could
please do the following and report the results back here please? Thanks!

1. Press Phone
2. Press Menu
3. From the Options menu, select Phone Info
4. In the Phone Info screen read the numbers after "Software"
5. Look at the number after the "Treo 600-"
6. Is your software version number is lower than 1.12?
7. What is the software version?
