I am planning to buy a watch from a swiss internet watch dealer. Their
web address is www.times-zones.com

Is this a valid dealer or fraud, the site looks genuine, they only
accept bank wire transfers no credit cards, money wired to account in
spain.

Dear ajeet123,

As a result of my research, I recommend that you better abstain from
doing any business with "TimesZones". The company is not trustworthy
at all, for the following reasons:

1.
The street address provided on their website is nothing but a very bad
fake. The alleged address is Seestrasse 715, 8801 Bern. But there is
no street named Seestrasse anywhere in the city of Bern. And the
postal code 8801 is all wrong, since the postal codes belonging to
Bern all begin with the digit 3.

2.
The alleged telephone number, +41 1274 2040, makes no sense. Since
1996, all Swiss phone numbers have seven digits plus a three-digit
local prefix. Bern's prefix is 031 (31 when calling from abroad). But
the number "TimesZones" provides can't exist anywhere in Switzerland.

3.
The company is not listed in the Swiss Central Commercial Register. If
"TimesZones" really existed, they would be registered there.

4.
The domain "times-zones.com" is registered under the name of one
Markus Kakas, Seestrasse 512, 8806 Bern. Besides the fact that no
Seestrasse exists in Bern and that the postal code is all wrong once
more, the Swiss telephone directories do not list a single person of
the name Kakas. And Kakas' alleged phone/fax number, +41 554 515447,
does not belong to any place in Bern.

For those reasons, I come to the conclusion that "TimesZones" is not trustworthy.
