Hi Jackiee,

There are several methods you can use to search for and hopefully
locate this person.

1) If you do not know the exact date of birth, sex or name of the
person you can contact:

Ohio Department of Health
P.O. Box 15098
Columbus, OH. 43215-0098
Tel. (614) 466-2531

Home page: http://www.odh.state.oh.us/

Department of Community Health, Vital Records Office,
P.O. Box 30195,
3423 Martin Luther King Blvd,
Lansing MI 48909

Telephone 517-335-8656 for a recorded message

Home page: http://www.michigan.gov/mdch/0,1607,7-132-4645---,00.html

These two links are likely only to supply you with details of the
birth, not where he/she is. I believe they both offer a 'Search'
service.

2) There is of course the possibility that the person you are seeking
or his/her relatives/friends still reside in Michigan/Ohio. It could
be an idea to place a request for information in the local newspapers
or possibly even the local radio stations.

3) Online Genealogy sites are normally a wonderful place to find the
whereabouts of someone. Virtually all of these have a Message Board
which enables you to post a request for information. The vast majority
of these are free to use to post messages, however, you will normally
have to register with them in order to do this. There are dozens of
these online sites and a Google search will soon list them. Most are
extremely good. A place to start could be:

If you decide to take this course may I advise you to obtain as much
information as possible. Obviously the more information you give the
more likely you are of being successful.

4) There are also some agencies who may be able to help you to find
this person. There are some online agencies you may like to visit.

5) If you know or can discover the name and actual place of birth of
the person, you may be able to discover which schools he/she attended
and trace him/her through their Yearbook. Although I appreciate this
may be difficult.

6)Use an online 'Find Lost Friends or Relatives' site. Some of these
are free. Again a Google search will reveal quite a few but I have
given you one to start below.

I really hope this information is of help to you.

Happy and successful hunting.
