Hmmm can't "twain" the 'puter to open JPEGS? (ouch! sorry guys, could
not resist.) Here's a link from MSN knowledge base, searched with the
term "TWAIN" You are not stating what format the photos are in, JPEG,
etc, when trying to open them from Outlook, that's IF you are trying
to view the photos from OE, or are you using 3rd party software? If
you are using HP's (that's the 3rd party) Then follow da link to HP
and d/l the software. If you need more help, goto
www.computingcentral.msn.com and post the question on the message
boards. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q167070
By the way, google returned 1,280,000 pages on "twain" ;)

Try this:

1. Find a jpeg photo that you have saved.

2. Right click on it and select 'OPEN WITH...' ('CHOOSE PROGRAM')

3. A List of programs will pop up. Select 'Internet Explorer'

4. Check 'Always use this program to open these files'

5. click ok

Note:

 - Depending on your operating system, the steps above maybe a little
different.
 - You can choose any suitable program in step 3 (internet explorer
will do for testing)

Now try and open your photo attachments in Outlook.

Hope this helps.

Twain, or "Title without an interesting name", is used for scanners
only, surely? It's the generic software for scanning in images.

Have you not tried opening up an art package, and then loading the
JPEG and seeing what happens? Does it load into that? Is is only when
you try to print? If so, then it's the printer causing the problem,
and not the picture itself, and a reinstallation or update of the
printer software may be required.
