More details may be helpful, plus an explanation of ISO9001. If the data is stored digitally: Computer crashes are likely the most negative, as back up files are often not quite the same as the original, and blending in the back up data with the total is often a judgememt call and/or requiers more man hours (and computer geeks) than have been alocated to do the blending with high accuracy. Data entry from hand writen papers needs to be interpereted correctly, but time constraints offen lead to guessing. Errors can typically be held to less than + or - one percent if all concerned are instucted not to guess where large amounts of money are envolved. |
