How can I dispaly files ending in .VLD on my Window XP PC

you mean to ask about?

I have a file labled F01DB001.VLG. It is a data file with english and
french. I want to view the contents of that file.

Is it a VentaFax Log Book file?  Have you tried looking at it with a text editor?
