Is there a web site, data research organization, etc. that provides
information on who the owners/officers/stockholders are for
corporations, LLC's etc. for various states, for example Connecticut,
New York, Delaware, etc?

In general, the answer is usually Yes, at least for owners and
officers (not always for stockholders).

The Secretary of State for each state collects such information and
usually makes it publicly available. There are also services that can
provide the information to you for a fee.

However, the details vary from state to state, and service to service.
Would you like me to provide links to the relevant information for
the three states you mentioned, along with links to some of the
commercial services?

Or are you looking for something different as an answer to your question?

Let us know.

Well, for example in CT I went onto the Secy of State web site,
Concord, and was able to get only principal name and address. But for
example it could be a holding company, and want to see if there is a
way to get actual owners or principals names. For NY & Delaware I
don't know where to look. Was wondering specifically if there was any
national data/information source which would provide this information
for small corporations/LLC's. Thanks for your quick reply. Yes if
you can provide links and data sources that would be extremely
helpful!
