It does not look like anyone is going to answer your question so I
have a question. What evidence do you have that Cat has discontinued
P/N 9T6526. I sent out several e-mails and received 1 answer back from
a source that has current info on Cat parts. They claim that P/N
9T6526 is still valid. Would you be interested in that info.

this joint assembly part is still sold by cat but it is my
understanding that they stopped putting them in 973 cat track loaders
some time ago.  THey seem to break a lot and I need to know when/why
they changed
