Question ID: 400029
I have tried the only two fixes which are remove QOS support and by
adding the AuthMode Dword, setting of 2, to the registry.

neiher works to fix my problem where I can authenticate and get a DHCP
address, but after a minute or so, traffic stops flowing and in my
setup I get a message that says "WPA, TKIP, Key Absent" Once I get
that, the connection doesn't work.

Hardware involved is a Dell Laptop with the TrueMobile 1400 card using
WPA-TKIP with PEAP-TLS.

The wireless access point is a DLINK DWL-7000AP.

Drivers are current, firmware is current.

Hi!!

I found the following:

Check these:
- WinXP updated with the Microsoft service pack KB826942
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=5039EF4A-61E0-4C44-94F0-C25C9DE0ACE9&displaylang=en

- Use Wireless Zero Config (WZC) utility instead of the card wireless
config utility
- in WZC, "Network Authentication" set to "WPA-PSK"
- in WZC, "Data Encryption" set to "TKIP"

For reference see:

Please let me know how this works. In the case that your problem was
solved I will post this in the answer box, if not I will continue
researching.

Regards.
