I'm looking for sports data. In particular for now, basketball. I
need the following two things:

1) A live Excel feed for the scores of games. I was thinking of
extracting it from sports.yahoo but with the changing format, this
seems to be too difficult.

2) Historical game data. In the format:

Quarter, Time, TeamAScore, TeamBScore

If I had the Excel feed, I could collect my own historical game data.
But it would still be nice to have the historical data.

Have any ideas? Thoughts?

Did you try something like this?

You can get the feed in XML and I would think this would be easy to
parse with a simple program or you could load it into excel.
