I'm looking for sports data. In particular for now, basketball. I need the following two things: 1) A live Excel feed for the scores of games. I was thinking of extracting it from sports.yahoo but with the changing format, this seems to be too difficult. 2) Historical game data. In the format: Quarter, Time, TeamAScore, TeamBScore If I had the Excel feed, I could collect my own historical game data. But it would still be nice to have the historical data. Have any ideas? Thoughts? |

Did you try something like this? http://www.newsisfree.com/sources/bycat/31/ You can get the feed in XML and I would think this would be easy to parse with a simple program or you could load it into excel. |
