I saw this movie on HBO (I think) years ago (probably in the
mid-to-late 80s-early 90s.) All I remember are a two distinct scenes:

1.	The main character goes into a Mexican restaurant and is warned not
to order the burritos. But the waitress is very pretty and he orders
one anyway. Later that night, his stomach is in dire straits and we
see his dream: He?s floating on a piece of burrito in his own
stomach, while the waitress, floating along on another piece of
half-digested food, laughs at him.
2.	The main character buys a really nice car from a beautiful
saleswoman. Then he takes his fancy car out for a drive and it starts
to malfunction in every way possible. I remember he puts a cassette
into the deck and it spits out tape at him.

Does anybody know this movie????

Hello.

The movie was "It Takes Two" (1988).

The burrito was the "Tijuana Torpedo."

See the Internet Movie Database:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095384/

See Amazon.com:
"Also, the dream sequence following the Tijuana Torpedo is HILARIOUS. "
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/customer-reviews/6302923093/
Also see this Google cache of an older customer review on Amazon.com:
"... Some good comedic scenes too, but the dream about being digested
along with the poison burrito was a little weird."

------
search strategy:
imdb.com plot: car saleswoman
amazon.com, "it takes two"

Thanks!
