I only get $1,051.00 per month from Social Security Disability,and I
have Medicare I am
62. will I be able to qualify for Assisted Living help and Nursing
home care?

May I suggest that you contact a nursing home or two that you are
impressed with and talk to them - they will have someone on staff that
knows the Medicaid rules inside and out. So long as your assets are
minimal (you are allowed to have a home and a car and certain other
personal assets without limitation) and your income is low, approx
$6,000 a month is available to pay for nursing home care. Since the
Medicaid is such a large segment of their business, it seems that 90%
of the homes out there are well-versed in the procedures and have been
very helpful to me.
