I am looking for information about a rare set of sterling silver
plates that were issues by the King of England to commemorate
England's victory over the Spanish armada. The plates were lost for
several hundred years, and resurfaced sometime in the last 100 years.
These are not from any shipwreck, but were made to honor the
Admiralty's senior officers and the leading men and women of the royal
court for a special banquet following the victory.
