Here is what I need: Information on how to setup type of call center
where customers can call toll free number (so actual phone calls are
free), but I need to be able to charge them for services I will be
offering. I would like to able to charge by the minute and/or based
on monthly subscription. System should allow me to keep track of all
calls (how long, what are the charges, to add/remove customers, etc?)
System should be able to handle 10-20 calls at one time, but with
possibility to grow and handle even more calls.
Now here is tricky part. I would like this to be based on VoIP
technology. I also, if possible at all, would like my operators to be
located at their homes and not at the central office location.
Example: it is 1PM and 3 customers dial my number (let say
1-800-111-1111) at the same time. John at the main office answers 1
call. Jane at her home computer answers 2 nd call, and Mike at
Starbucks using his laptop answers 3 d call.
It does not have to be so advanced (like laptop in Starbucks), but something close.
3 options come to my mind:
01. I actually purchase all necessary equipment/software to run this
service myself. (like cisco gateway, and everything else I would
need). I would need to know where I can get all equipment, how to set
it up, how much the cheapest setup would cost me)
02. I will use services of some other company, which will redirect
calls to my operators. And keep track of all call information and
handle all the charges. I would like to know which companies offer
services like this and how much it will cost me.
03. Traditional setup. I guess by this I mean those psychic and adults
lines setups. When do I find more about it, and would it be possible
to use it for my needs.
Here some basic needs summed up:
01. To accept phone 10-20 calls from any type of phones (cell phone,
land line, pay phone)
02. To charge by the minute or monthly subscription based.
03. Software to keep track of all call/financial info.
04. It should be voIP based service. So all necessary equipment should
be included in answer.
05. I would like to be able to redirect phone call to be answered to
different computers at different locations.
I would like links to companies with little descriptions in human what
they do and why they are useful to solving my problem. I?m not very
technically evolved and do not understand a lot technical terms.
Please let me know if you?d like me to clarify anything.
I will give very generous tip if the answer is, how should I say?
practical and possible to execute. |
